DescriptionThe anti-FXa assay is used to monitor low molecular weight heparin therapy (eg. Tinzaparin, Clexane, Fragmin, etc)
IndicationPatients on LMWH therapy.
Additional InfoLMW Heparin therapy does not usually require monitoring. However some patients (eg. Children, pregnant women) may require heparin levels to be monitored.
