DescriptionPlease indicate if you are suspecting an acute Hepatitis A infection in which case we will test for the IgM anti-HAV antibody which will be detectable in jaundiced patients. Please note that we do not routinely test for presence of IgG anti-HAV antibody which indicates past infection or response to Hepatitis A virus vaccination.
