Description The Enhanced Liver Fibrosis (ELF) Score is an aid in the diagnosis and assessment of severity in liver fibrosis
Indication Recommended by NICE for the assessment and management of advanced liver fibrosis in people diagnosed with Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD).
Additional InfoCombining three serum biomarkers (Hyaluronic acid, PIIINP and TIMP-1), the ELFTM score correlates to the level of fibrosis assessed by liver biopsy.
