DescriptionFactor XIII is a coagulation protein that plays an important role in the stabilisation of a fibrin clot. Patients with FXIII deficiency can be treated with FXIII concentrate. It is possible that a patient can develop an antibody to the FXIII concentrate, thus affecting the efficacy of treatment.This test is used to screen for such antibodies.
