DescriptionMeasure antibody in response to Hepatitis B surface antigen. This is the test of choice to measure vaccine response of individuals who have not previously been infected with Hepatitis B virus. Note that individuals who have cleared a Hepatitis B virus infection will have positive anti-HBsAg titres. Past infection can be ruled out by measuring Hepatitis B core IgG antibody (IgG anti-HBc).
