Description:

Determination of the presence of antibodies to Blastomyces dermatitidis by immunodiffusion.

Specimens:

Serum 200 µl minimum or 3 mL clotted blood.

Results:

Negative, Positive.

Inclusion of travel history is useful for confirming potential exposure to these fungi.
